Dr. Lin is an ABFAS Board Certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle surgeon specializes in the treatment of Ankle and Foot trauma and reconstruction. He is also certified in a variety of total ankle replacement. He was previously employed at Hess Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in VA serving as the primary Foot and Ankle Surgeon until his relocation to the Maryland state. He received his surgical training under Dr. Justin Fleming at Aria-Jefferson Health, Philadelphia, a level II trauma center, in which he served as the Chief Resident. Specific areas of training include Ankle and Foot fracture care, soft tissue management and internal/external fixation techniques, as well as traditional podiatric reconstructive Forefoot, Rearfoot, and Ankle procedures for deformity, arthritis, tendon disorders and diabetic limb salvage/reconstruction.

Dr. Lin believes in the balance between conservative vs. surgical care. While many lower extremity pathologies can be treated adequately with conservative care, some pathologies do warrant aggressive surgical intervention to achieve favorable outcome and meet treatment goals.
